Madonna breaks down on stage over son’s custody

Legendary pop singer Madonna has all but conceded custody of her 15-year-old son Rocco to her estranged ex-husband Guy Ritchie as she broke down on stage at a recent concert.

“There’s no love stronger than a mother for her son,” an emotional Madonna said during the New Zealand leg of her Rebel Heart concert tour.

Moments after her breakdown, she then dedicated La Vie en Rose to him and said, “I hope he hears this somewhere and knows how much I miss him.”

Sources say Madonna (57) admitted to friends that she had accepted her son just does not want to live with her.

“The fact is Madonna has now accepted Rocco isn’t coming home and that his home is now with his dad. Rocco wants to be with his dad but she won’t give up being his mother,” the source said.

“She won’t stop fighting to try to make sure Rocco is kept safe and has what he needs. She can’t understand why it has come to this. Her world has been shattered.”

Madonna’s recent declaration is coming after a bitter legal battle that played out in both US and UK courts.
