The Senate President at the end of plenary today announced that screening of ministerial nominees will continue when the Senate resumes for plenary on Tuesday, October 27.

The Senate had earlier today screened former Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers); former Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Heineken Lopkobiri (Bayelsa); Claudius Omoyele Daramola (Ondo); Baba Shehun Mustapha (Bornu) and Ocholi Enojo James (Kogi).

The screening of former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Isaac Adewole, a ministerial nominee from Osun State, earlier billed to be screened today, has also been deferred to next week.
No confirmations were made as to those that were screened today.
