NDCP Rep candidate challenges Oshiomhole

The Nigeria Democratic Congress Party (NDCP) candidate for Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency of Edo State, Michael Obasuyi, has raised some posers for the former governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole to answer.

Obasuyi questioned the establishment of another University- Edo University, Iyamho, while the State-owned Ambrose Alli University is left to allegedly languish.

According to his a statement from the Michael Obasuyi Campaign Organisation (MOCO), he raised the challenge at the weekend when some members of his Constituency paid him a visit at his residence in Benin, the state capital.

He decried the lack of funding currently experienced by Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, poor infrastructure, low salaries for lecturers and others while Edo University has the best facilities any University can have in the South South.

He called on the Edo people to wake up and see the much neglect of the APC-led administration.

According to the statement, “he also frowned at shoddy projects done by some incumbent House of Representatives Members, and promised the People to commit all his Constituency votes to Infrastructural Development once Elected in February, 2019.

“He expressed 100% optimism of Victory at the polls and urged Members to continue the Struggle for a better Nigeria”.
