Nightclub acid attacker identified by UK police

The identity of a London nightclub acid attacker who injured 20 people has been revealed by UK police as 25-year-old Arthur Collins.

The suspect who is the boyfriend of a reality TV performer been urged by the police to turn himself in after the incident which also left two men in their 20s seriously injured and needing hospital treatment in a specialist burns unit.

Metropolitan Police Detective Inspector Lee McCullough said “the noxious substance used has not yet been confirmed but samples retrieved from the scene have been sent for analysis.”
Collins is the boyfriend of performer Ferne McCann, who has appeared on British reality shows “The Only Way is Essex” and “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.”

Following the incident, the girlfriend of the suspect, McCann, through a spokeswoman, called the allegations against Collins “highly shocking” and urged him to “immediately” turn himself in.

UK police has also warned members of the public not to approach Collins, but to call emergency services if they saw him.
