NNPC GMD visits Aso Rock as fuel scarcity persists

Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Makanti Baru, yesterday visited the Presidential Villa for yet undisclosed reasons.

The GMD was sighted leaving the villa during the period that President Muhammadu Buhari, had already departed the country for the ‘One Planet Summit’ in Paris, France. Presidency officials were also yet to give reasons why the NNPC boss was visiting at the same time Nigerians were experiencing hardship over scarcity of fuel in Abuja and other parts of the country.
