DESPITE warnings by the Federal Government to sanction petrol stations selling above pump price, the product is still selling above N145 in Imo State.

Vanguard went to the streets of Owerri, the state capital yesterday and gathered that majority of the petrol stations were selling above pump price.

Some of the petrol stations on Port-Hacourt, Okigwe, Onitsha and Aba roads, have refused to adjust their meters to the N145 approved price.

Vanguard had reported that petrol was sold at between N250 and N300, during the Christmas period in Imo State, while in January this year, it came down to between N200 and N220.
