Opeyemi Esan, a former driver of Prof. Abdullahi Onimisi of the Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Kwara State, has been arrested with two other suspects, Benjamin Musa and Olusegun Omoyajowolo for masterminding a robbery attack against his former boss.

According to Mr. Olusola Amore, the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Police Command, during the robbery attack, Esan and the two other suspects inflicted machete wounds on Prof. Onimisi, his wife and son.

When paraded at the command’s headquarters in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, Esan disclosed that he recruited Benjamin and Olusegun from Lagos for the robbery attack on the household of his former employer because Prof. Onimisi still owes him a month’s salary.
