Police nabs naked man who killed 4, wounded 2 at a restaurant

The long arm of the law has caught up with a man who opened fire on customers at a restaurant in the suburb of Antioch, in Nashville, Tennessee killing four and wounding two others in the process.

Reports say the suspect identified as 29-year-old Travis Reinking was caught hiding in the woods behind a construction site about a mile from the restaurant where the shooting occurred.

According to local police, the suspect on sighting security operatives immediately lay on the ground and surrendered ending a 34-hour, door-to-door manhunt that saw schools locked down.

The suspect who was booked later on Monday at the Hill Detention Centre on four counts of criminal homicide was later taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday. His bond was set at $2 million — $500,000 for each homicide count, according to the commissioner’s office.
