Presidency reacts to stories that Buhari has released ministerial list
The Presidency has reacted to rumours making the round that President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the list of his second term ministers to the National Assembly.
The rumours which circulated in some media platforms, not Ripples Nigeria, had claimed the ministerial list was forwarded to the National Assembly for approval, adding that the senior presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, promised to upload it online for everybody to read before the end of today Tuesday, July 2.
However, responding in a tweet on his official Twitter handle, Shehu wrote:
“My Twitter account is a verified one. Whoever wants to know what I have said should go to it, not to a fake one. I have no breaking news on the appointment of ministers because I have not been briefed about it. Ignore the report they are attributing to me, please.”
