The ministerial screening and confirmation of former Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, may turn out to be mere formality as the three Senators representing the state at the Red Chamber have endorsed his nomination.

According to a tweet on the Senate’s official twitter handle, @NGRSenate Senators Oluremi Tinubu, Gbenga Ashafa and Solomon Adeola have endorsed Fashola.

There had been apprehension over what awaits Fashola during screening, with insinuations that he may not easily scale through because he was not Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nominee.
