Security agents gun down suicide bomber in Borno IDP camp

Security agents on Saturday gunned down a suspected suicide bomber who tried gaining entrance into the Internal Displaced Persons’ camp at Muna garage in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Ripples Nigeria gathered that the strange movement of the suspect attracted the attention of security personnel guarding the premise who quickly isolated the suspect.

According to reports, the suspect on discovery that he had been exposed tried to detonate the explosive devises mounted on him, but was shot by the security agents.

The Muna garage camp is used as transit camp to house displaced persons after screening them before they are allowed to enjoy the IDP facilities in Borno state.
