Senate: Ekwunife, Oduah pummel Umeh, Ngige

Iyom Uche Ekwunife has been declared winner of the Anambra Central senatorial election by the INEC. She pulled a whopping 101, 548 votes to come tops, beating the big names like Victor Umeh of APGA with 77, 129 votes to come second, and Chris Ngige of the APC with a meagre 20, 850 who took the back seat.

Umeh is the national chairman of the APGA, and Ngige is a serving senator, a and former governor of the state.

Former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah of the PDP also came tops in Anambra North, with 14,3478 votes, defeat Chief Dubem Obaze also of APGA.
