Six Imo lawmakers dump AA, APGA for PDP

Six members of the Imo State House of Assembly on Monday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party from the Action Allaince, AA, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

The defection of the lawmakers was contained in a letter they addressed to the Speaker and read by the Clerk of the House during plenary.

Five of the lawmakers, who defected from the AA are Mike Iheanaetu (Aboh Mbaise), Victor Onyewuchi (Owerri West), Ken Agbim (Ahiazu Mbaise), Lloyd Chukwuemeka (Owerri North) and Bruno Ukoha (Ezinihittte Mbaise)
Chiji Collins (Isiala Mbano), who defected from the APGA to the PDP, is said to eyeing the position of Speaker.
