Tribunal grants Saraki bail, adjourns

Again, Saraki's CCT trial shifted

After a dramatic sequence of events, the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal was adjourned to October 21, while he was granted bail on self-recognition.

Saraki who had pleaded not guilty to all 13-count charges proffered against him, had tried to explain a point in law from the dock, but was prevented from doing so.

    please i want to ask. is declaring of assets by force? is it an obligation in the constitution? i think this is a case of Ananias and Sapphira in the bible, who sold their lands and lied about the proceeds.

      i think the real problem is selectively leaving some out of the assets you declared as “all your assets”.
