UCL: Moses fired up ahead Chelsea's clash with Qarabag

Nigerian forward, Victor Moses has expressed his eagerness to begin this season’s UEFA Champions League journey with Chelsea, as they host Qarabag on Tuesday night.

Moses, who made his first Champions League appearance back in 2012 with the Blues, will be hoping to make the lineup for the clash against the Azerbaijani side.

The 26-year old on Monday posted a picture of himself and three teammates in training on his official Twitter account with caption, “Getting ready for the Champions league ??.”

Moses Champions League debut was in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over FC Nordsjaelland during the 2012/13 season. He has scored one goal ever since – against Shakhtar Donetsk – and also has one assist to his name.

Chelsea played away to former Premier League champions, Leicester City last weekend, and secured a third consecutive domestic victory with a 2-1 scoreline.

After Tuesday’s Champions League game, the Antonio Conte’s men will also get ready to play rivals Arsenal by the weekend.
