Victor Osimhen strikes again as Lille beat Strasbourg

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osihmen has scored yet another goal as he helped Lille beat Racing Strasbourg in the Ligue 1 on Wednesday.

Osimhen, who has had a fine start to his stay in France, bagged his 6th goal in seven league appearances for Lille to put his side ahead just before halftime.

The home side continued to pile up pressure on their visitors, and Loïc Rémy successfully scored just past the hour mark to seal a 2-0 victory.

The victory at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy (Villeneuve d’Ascq) was Lille’s fourth successive home win of the new season.

Of the ten goals netted by Lille so far this season in the French top-flight, Osimhen has contributed to eight – 6 goals and 2 assists.

They play at OGC Nice in their next Ligue 1 fixture this weekend.
