Wife of Sun DMD, Nwosu regains freedom

The wife of Mr Steve Nwosu deputy managing director of the Sun Newspapers, Toyin who was abducted on Monday from their Festac, Lagos residence has regained her freedom.

It was gathered that her abductors dropped her off in the early hours of today (Thursday) near Zenith Bank by Festac Link Bridge and sped off in their boat.

So far, it is unclear if any ransome was paid for her release, or how much.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has assured that Toyin’s abductors would soon be arrested.

The police commissioner said many people had been calling him since the incident, requesting to know the update. “But what do they want me to say or do, to discuss our strategies? All I will say is that… those behind the abduction will be made to face the music soon,” he said.
