Chiefs and leaders of Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have been given 72 hours to make sure that three abducted expatriates of Raffoul Nigeria Limited, involved in the construction of the Unity Road in the area, are released from their kidnappers.
The state governor, Nyesom Wike, handed the ultimatum to the leaders of Andoni, vowing that at the expiration of the order, he would officially call off the Andoni aspect of the unity road project as well as cancel the recognition of all government accepted chiefs in the area.
Calling on other communities in the state to make efforts to protect contractors and workers working on projects in their areas, he vowed to hand same sanctions to Chiefs and leaders of any community that failed to protect project contractors from kidnappers.
