12 killed in fresh Adamawa attack

A former Chairman of Madagali Local Government Area, Maina Ularamu, Monday, confirmed that 12 persons were killed when suspected female members of Boko Haram sect attacked a village in the area Saturday night.

According to him, the assailants attacked Dar Village in the council at about 8:30 p.m.

It was gathered that a group of female bombers invaded the village, forcing residents to flee.

According to reports, two female suicide bombers, who disguised as fleeing villagers, detonated explosives in the bush where many people were hiding, killing 12 persons.

However, Adamawa Police Command spokesman, Othman Abubakar, who confirmed the attack, gave the number of casualty as 11.
