3-yrs after divorce, actress Fathia Balogun reverts to maiden name

Three years after officially severing ties with her estranged husband, Nollywood actress Fathia has dropped “Balogun” from her name and has reverted to her maiden name “Williams”.

The actress who had since separated from her husband, Saidi Balogun, but retained the name ‘Balogun’ made the move when she yanked off the name from her Instagram handle with her previous handle ‘faithiawilliamsbalogun’ now reading ‘faithiawilliams’.

Fathia who has not given any reason yet for her decision also deleted all her pictures leaving just her display photo on her Instagram page which has over eight hundred thousand followers (over 800,000).

The thespian who hinted that she may consider falling in love again in a recent interview when she said; “I don’t know if I’ll fall in love again but let’s leave that to God. Never say never”, is reportedly now dating UK based movie director, Femi Philips, who is one of the sons of veteran Yoruba actress, Idowu Philips better known as Iya Rainbow.
