Loud whispers - the Magazine unveiled

Life is tough brutish and short in Nigeria. The people daily slave for pittance while the elites in their struggle for power trample on the basic human rights of people, denying them the bare essentials that make life as Nigeirans worthwhile. In all these the need to look at ourselves in a light and self deprecating mode cannot be discounted.

This is why, working with his partners, Afolabi Onolapo and Scott Igbene a popular Blogger, Joseph Edgar has once again turned his very popular column with a leading Nigerian newspaper into a monthly  Magazine of satires.

This is the third incarnation of the column. It was first compiled into book form which enjoyed great demand and this year it was produced together with entertainment personality Olisa Adibua into a highly successful Stage play at the Muson.

Edgar’s message is very clear. He wants to use humor to X-ray society and its actors. Laugh at them while sending very powerful messages of social change.

The Magazine is a 100 page work of caricatures, illustrations and some of the best written prose in his signature satirical style pleasing to the reader. It will come with very clean and positive imageries leading to a healthy read by its readers.

Edgar has confirmed that the magazine would really not be on the news stands but will be distributed strictly by subscription.
