After 8yrs, Elton John ends feud with mother

The 68-year-old flamboyant musician, Elton John has finally summed up the courage to apologise to his 90-year-old mother Sheila Farebrother after not being on speaking terms with her for eight years.

It was Elton who made the move last year when he sent his mum a large bouquet of flowers and a note which reads thus: “Wow, 90! Congratulations. Love Elton, David, Zachary and Elijah”.

The iconic musician made the announcement publicly during his mum’s 90th birthday when he told the Daily Mirror that: “We are now back in touch”.
Speaking further Elton said; “Out of respect for my mother’s privacy, I have always shied away from speaking publicly about our relationship.

“However, I can say that we are now back in touch and have been so since my mother clocked 90”.
