Ailment: Alariwo to appear on TV to raise funds

The critical health condition of one-time popular music crossover king, Alariwo of Africa (real name Rotimi Martins) has continued to worry some players in the music industry and other well meaning Nigerians, especially with the huge amount involved to get Alariwo back on his feet.

The fair skinned entertainer needs the sum of $13,000 (thirteen thousand dollars) for medical treatment abroad to cure his ailment.

However, there are indications that the money may eventually be raised as he is expected to appear on the popular game show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, to raise the needed money.

Prior to this development, the host of the game show, Frank Edoho paid a visit to Alariwo’s home to ascertain the actuality of the musicians condition before being allowed to appear on the game show.

For some months now, Alariwo has been battling Vericocele, a disease which causes enlargement of the veins inside the scrotum.

His health condition was said to have worsened a month after his wife Shola Nkem Ayishat suffered blood clotting which saw her hospitalised at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
