2019: Atiku will compensate S’West with SGF for loss of VP if he wins— Gbenga Daniel

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo can do more than the threat of waiving his immunity and submitting himself to be probed.

He said Osinbajo should rather resign his position as vice president “if you are really a man” and then take on Timi Frank for accusing him of corruption“, man to man.”

Frank, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy national publicity secretary, had recently accused Osinbajo of collecting N90 billion from Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) for the 2019 election.

In his response, Osinbajo on Wednesday said he was ready to be probed and was prepared to waive aside his constitutional immunity to allow for proper investigation.

Earlier, the FIRS had threatened to sue Frank if he fails to withdraw the claim and apologise.

Despite the threats, Frank has insisted on his claim and had even dared Osinbajo and FIRS to drag him to court.

Reacting to the controversy generated, Fani-Kayode on his Twitter handle on Thursday morning, said Osinbajo should do more than waive his immunity aside by resigning to take on Frank.

He wrote, “If you are really a man don’t just waive your immunity to sue Timi Frank but resign from your position and take him on man to man. He will eat you for breakfast. I know that young man: he is a real Ijaw! Deeply courageous and tough as nails. You cannot intimidate him or break him.”
