Amosun expresses shock after death escape

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State was left dumbfounded after escaping death on Thursday evening when a Central Bank of Nigeria bullion van rammed into his convoy

The accident it was learnt happened at Ibafo area on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while the governor was on his way to Lagos State.

The driver of the CBN bullion van was said to have attempted to overtake the governor’s convoy but collided with one of the vehicles in the course of trying to manoeuvre his way.

The governor, who reportedly was in utter shock at the incident, thanked God for not allowing any life to be lost in the incident.
