Army claims 9 members of Boko Haram propaganda team killed

No less than nine ‘social media personalities’ of the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP), a faction of Boko Haram, have been killed by the Nigerian Army fighting terrorists in Nigeria North East.

This was disclosed by the Nigerian Army on Monday in a statement by its Director of Public Relations, Sagir Musa.

According to Musa, the killing is a further proof that the Nigerian Army has decimated the insurgents. He added that they do not have freedom to act any longer.

Musa gave the names of the neutralized terrorist’s media team to include Abu Hurayra al-Barnawi, Ali al-Ghalam al-Kajiri, Abu Musab Muhammed Mustafa al-Maiduguri, Abu Abdullah Ali al-Barnawi.

The rest are Abu Musa al-Camerooni, Ahmed al-Muhajir, Abu Ali al-Bamawi, Abu Khubayb bin Ahmed al-Barnawi and Abu al-Qa’qa’ al-Maiduguri.

He said, “The terrorist group is known for its online media propaganda and quest to maintain a virtual caliphate.”
