Army retakes Gomboru Ngala from B’Haram

The Nigerian Army said on Tuesday that it had retaken Gomboru Ngala, a community in Borno State, from the Boko Haram terrorist group.
Army headquarters stated this on its twitter handle.
And a short statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relation, Sani Usman said “The triumphant troops are now busy with clearing and mopping up patrols”.

Recall that on Thursday, March 19, 2015, it was reported that the terrorist group, Boko Haram had recaptured Gamboru Ngala town, where they were recently pushed out by Chadian troops.
It was learnt that the Nigerian border town with Chad, Gamboru Ngala, was left unguarded after the Chadian troops liberated it from and flushed out the insurgents.
