Australian police burst terror gang, arrest six

No less than six suspects have been arrested by Australian authorities in connection with a planned holiday attacks.

According to local police, six men and a woman, all Australian citizens in their 20’s were nabbed in a foiled plot to attack prominent sites in the city of Melbourne with a series of bombs on Christmas Day.

The foiled attack described by authorities in Australia as “an imminent terrorist event” inspired by Islamic State was planned for the city of Melbourne with a series of bombs offensives on Christmas Day.

Police, however, laid terrorism charges against one of the suspects, and are expected to charge at least three others, after authorities conducted overnight raids on homes in the suburbs of Australia’s second-largest city.
