In from Ify Chiemeziem….

The parents of the president of a civil rights group, Rachel Dolezal, have come out to tell the public that she is a pure white woman. They said they do not understand why Dolezal is passing herself off as black.

Rachel Dolezal, 37, is one of the most prominent faces of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Washington’s black community. Over the years, she has successfully passed herself off as a black woman and even had a black son. Now, her estranged parents have come all the way to CNN to tell the world that she was born white and they, her parents, are Caucasians. They shared documents and photos to prove this. And on those photos, Rachel was nothing but Lilly white.

“We are her birth parents,” Lawrence Dolezal said on Friday. “We do not understand why she feels it’s necessary to misrepresent her ethnicity.”

They explained that they adopted four black children and ever since then she has associated herself as being black and passing off her younger adopted brother as her own son.

Her father, Mr Larry Dolezal said, “She’s our birth daughter and we’re both of European descent. We’re puzzled. She has over the past 20 years assimilated herself into the African-American community through her various advocacies and social justice work, and so that may be part of the answer.”

He also said that Rachel completely cut them off, not wanting to associate with them because they were Caucasians. “Doesn’t want us visible in the Spokane area in her circle because we’re Caucasian,” he explained.

He also pointed out that the black son Rachel claimed to be hers was Rachel’s adopted brother:

“About five years ago, when Izaiah was 16, he opted to go live with Rachel, at which time she obtained guardianship.” Still, he told BuzzFeed News that he and his wife, Ruthanne, remain Izaiah’s legal parents.

Officials are already investigating whether Rachel violated any city policies since on her application for the city commission, she filled her ethnicity to include white, black, and American Indian.

They should give her a medal joor. The woman let go of her white privilege and is fighting for black causes, nobody goes after all the ‘Uncle Toms’ for all the rubbish they spew. She has the right to be whoever she wants to be, she’s done more good than most so called black people.
