Buhari no more than ‘skin-and-bones’, he’s “dying” in Aso Rock –Dr Brimah

A notable columnist and convener of Every Nigerian Do Something (ENDS), Perry Brimah, has raised the alarm over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health status and described him as “no more than skin and bone” and “dying.”

Brimah, who further alleged that Buhari is “chronically ill” and in need of urgent rest, decried what he termed “the wickedness of the selfish cabal that forces him (Buhari) to remain locked up, ‘dying’ in Aso Rock instead of receiving best therapy.

The columnist stated this in a statement he released on Friday, adding that it was time Nigerians demanded full details of the true state of health of their president.

The statement read, “There can be no denying how chronically ill President Muhammadu Buhari looks when he seldom does appear in public. The last time was last week Friday when Kaduna state governor Nasir el-Rufai came visiting.

“The videos of Buhari walking for Friday prayers bring tears to eyes. His asthenic figure now no more than skin-and-bones as he sat down for the Jummah service was heart-wrenching.

“How can a people be so cold they expose a grandfather to this type of extreme stress and deprive him from his needed rest and medical expert attention by tasking him to lead the world’s most complex nation?

“Have we as a people lost our humanity that we continue to task Buhari like this and not campaign for him to be relieved of our burden and rest towards recovery?

“It is insane to continue to deprive him and the nation by locking him up and burdening him with a challenge too heavy for even a strong young man to bear talk-less an old man who just returned from a 49-day leave in which he received blood transfusions and unknown cocktails of serious medications.

“For those of us in the medical profession, we recognise the president’s loss of hair on his head and facial hair as well as his reported blood transfusions as possible evidence of cancer chemotherapy.

“God forbid, however, if this is the condition the president is being managed for that the cabal is hiding from the people, the wickedness of the selfish cabal that forces him to remain locked up, “dying” in Aso Rock instead of receiving best therapy, should be vehemently opposed by us masses.

“Whoever is found guilty of hiding any serious diagnosis the president may have and bundling him back to deteriorate in Aso Rock under pressure of Nigeria’s humongous burden should be dealt with according to the full extent of the law. This is not only criminal but sinful.

“A great fear is, what if (God forbid) president Buhari should collapse? This time he may not yet have handed over to Vice president Yemi Osinbajo as “acting president” and Nigeria may be thrown into the chaos that perhaps some desperate politicians eyeing the presidency seat are secretly plotting for. Nigeria cannot afford to be thrown into such state of dilemma and disarray.

“It’s time for Nigerians to demand full disclosure of the true state of health of President Muhammadu Buhari and immediate best options for him to be allowed to rest and recover instead of being locked up to literally die under the weight of Nigeria”.

I pity this old man who has good intention for the country but the bad ones won’t allow him to do so. All those with good intentions don’t last long just like the best president Nigeria ever had, Late Umaru Musa Yaradua

Who told you Yaradua had good intentions? He died before showing us his true colours to Nigerians. Buhari too is a bad man, Hasuas don’t like Nigeria, they ony want their share of the National Cake and that’s all.

Keep shut Agbor, sentiment apart, Yaradua was the best president Nigeria ever had. Don’t be blinded with emotions, when Yoruba man was there, what did he do for our tribe? In short most development we have in the south west today were done by Hausa president, so let’s call a spade a spade.

Well, no one is killing Buhari, he’s the person killing himself, if he wants to die, let him die. He should even die so all the suffering Nigerians are currently experiencing will vanish

This is simple; he is old and sick and know that he can no longer handle the rigors of office; even the wife attested to this, yet he still cling to power and eventually will die there if he does not do the right thing; and what is that right thing; resign and go home and manage his sickness. But because they are power drunk will remain there and eventually when the can not handle the situation he will die and bring a lot of confusion. If i have my way I will wish that he get well, but since I don’t have that power I will advice him to trow in the towel and make name for himself. Most of the people in the South West supporting him to remain with his condition don/ t really know what is going on or they know but will want to play their usual game.

This is very sad, why is it that the Hausas don’t have good luck? Yar’Adua -a good man died, Buhari who is another fellow with a very good heart is now weak and almost inactive. It’s a sorry case for them

It depends on how you view a good man; even Jesus Christ said that none is good. Those who are involved directly or indirectly in allowing their own to commit heinous crime like killing people in the name of religion, even going to an extent in killing pregnant women and gouging out their fetus then burn them is to me are not good. The fact is that we the Igbo see different from some of you. So when evil befall such people you can never understand why it is so.

God has His own way of strengthen Buhari to finish his tenure if it is of His will. Ours is to pray for him.

Every time you guys keep on saying God’s will. God has given us choice to choose. The choice is for Buhari to either resign or die in office; if he happens to die because of lust for power it is his will that was done and not God. Is it God’s will for a man to commit suicide yet people commit suicide; that means is the persons will and not of God.

But are his cabals stopping him from having good treatment? Dr. Brimah is off point, it is himself that is the problem of himself. It’s not by force to complete his tenure, he should honourably resign.
