In from Nifemi Daniel . . .
Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh and top striker, Gbolahan Salami, have predicted a tough return leg of the2016 CHAN qualifier despite defeating the Les Etalons of Burkina Faso 2-0 during the first leg played in Port Harcourt on Saturday.
Two goals in each half from Yaro Bature and Gbolahan Salami gave Nigeria a 2-0 win but Oliseh has warned the players to expect a tougher game when Nigeria visit Ouagadougou next week.
“The home Eagles fared very well against their opponents, Les Etalons of Burkina Faso,” he said at the post match conference.
“This is our first match with the home-based Super Eagles and I think it came off quite well.

“However, I think we have not won anything yet going into the second leg fixture in Ouagadougou, if we could score two goals here nothing stops the Burkinabes scoring same number of goals in the reverse fixture.
“So we will prepare harder with more organised mind to win well and secure the CHAN ticket right there in Ouagadougou for Nigerians,” he said.
For Salami, he said “We must step up our game during the second leg in Burkina Faso now that we know their style of play. It will be an entertaining and interesting reverse fixture right there in Ouagadougou,”
He added that, “We must not lose this golden opportunity of picking the final ticket.”
The overall winners of this match-up over two legs will advance to the final tournament in Rwanda in January.
