Chelsea and Manchester City played a 4-4 draw in a amazing Premier League encounter at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Blues snatched a draw as Cole Palmer’s stoppage-time penalty pegged them back in the thriller.

Prior to Sunday’s game, City had won the last four Premier League meetings with Chelsea. Also, City had won the last six clashes with the Blues in all competitions.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 25th minute through penalty before Thiago Silva equalised shortly.

Raheem Sterling scored to put Chelsea ahead for the first time, Manuel Akanji pegged back just before halftime, and Haaland scored early in the second half to restore City’s lead.

Yet Chelsea again battled back and deservedly drew level in the 67th minute when Nicolas Jackson pounced.

Pep Guardiola’s side thought they had won it with Rodri’s stroke of good fortune – until the late penalty drama converted by Palmer, capped an entertaining, eventful encounter.
