Confirmed! Mozambique debris certainly from MH370 flight, Australian authorities say
Authorities in Australia say the two plane parts found in Mozambique are “almost certainly” from the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370.
Australia’s transport minister confirmed the findings of the two possible plane parts found separately by members of the public which were duly flown to Australia for analysis.
According to the transport minister Darren Chester, the findings were “consistent with drift modeling” of how the debris from the missing plane may have been carried by currents of the ocean.
Mr Chester informed that following the investigation by the team which examined the debris, it was confirmed that both parts found were “consistent with panels from a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft”.
“The analysis has concluded the debris is almost certainly from MH370,” he said in a statement.
