Crack in Edo APC as 2 guber aspirants reject primary results

Two governorship aspirants of the APC in Edo State; Barr. Ken Imasuagbon and Engr. Chris Ogiemwhonyi have rejected the result of the party primary held in the state on Saturday.

Speaking at a joint news conference at the Chris Ogiemwhonyi campaign office in Benin, the two aspirants said that contrary to reports, Godwin Obaseki never won the primaries.

They said the figures given in favour of Obaseki were generated and not a true representation of voting.

It could be recalled that the two aspirants stormed out of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, venue of the primaries before the counting of votes were concluded.
