Davido inks $1m deal with Sony

HKN co-owner Davido has inked a mouth watering deal said to be worth $1 million with Sony Music International which is set to serve as a major boost to the career of the controversial artist.
The energetic act announced the agreement signed in New York on his Instagram and Twitter pages to the delight of his followers on social media.

Ever since the announcement, Davido has been flooded with a barrage of congratulatory messages from his fans and well wishers.

The record deal was brokered by a Nigerian resident in America known as Efe Ogbeni (Grace, Red One) who is also partners with Nicki Minaj on Parker Ighile‘s project, and facilitated by Davido’s manager Kamal Ajoboye.

Moments after sealing the deal, Davido shared his joy on his Twitter page saying; “Thank you God!! I’ve worked hard all my life for this day! This is the day that the lord has made.”
