DiCaprio wins first Oscar Award on 6th attempt (See list)

The 88th Oscar Academy Awards turned out to be a night to remember with Leonardo DiCaprio perhaps one of the biggest winners of the night after winning his first Oscar award on his sixth attempt for his role in the movie titled The Revenant.
Stand-up comedian, Chris Rock opened the awards ceremony with a highly anticipated monologue taking jabs at Hollywood culture especially with the
#OscarsSoWhite controversy making the rounds.
The movie “Mad Max: Fury Road” turned out to be the biggest winner of the night grabbing six awards out of 10 nominations.

One of the major upsets of the Oscar 2016 was Sylvester Stallone who was heavily tipped to win the award for Supporting Actor but he was beaten to it by Mark Rylance.
