Drama in court as Anita Solomon denies infecting Maje Ayida with STD

Anita Solomon, the babymama of fitness guru Maje Ayida has denied claims made in the book, ‘On Becoming’, written by her lover’s ex-wife Toke Makinwa, that she gave him (Maje) sexually transmitted disease.

The mother of one revealed that much as the N100 million defamation suit filed by Maje Ayida against Toke Makinwa came up for hearing before Hon Justice Oluwakayode Ogunjobi of the Lagos High Court.

Reports say there was mild drama during the court proceedings as Anita Solomon also revealed that she got pregnant for Maje Ayida after he had legally separated from Toke Makinwa (six months into their marriage) with the signed legal document agreement of their separation showed as proof in court.

Media personality Toke is a defendant in the N100 Million suit instituted by Maje Ayida over the content of her book ‘On Becoming’ in which she claimed that she contracted STD from her husband.

In the book, Toke claimed that after findings from Maje Ayida’s phone, she discovered that her ex-husband got the STD from Anita, a claim vehemently denied by Anita and Maje.

After a series of cross examination by Toke’s lawyer Olumide Fusika (SAN) and Maje’s lawyer, Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), Justice Ogunjobi adjourned the case till 29 March, 2019.

Recall that the pair officially parted ways when Toke in June 2016, filed for a divorce from Maje following an infidelity saga when she presented her petition before Justice Pedro of the Lagos State High Court through her lawyers.
