The National Center for Disease Control warned Nigerians on Monday that to prevent the spread of the pandemic, face shields should be used alongside a face mask.

This is following the hike in the Nigeria’s tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases as it increased to 32,558 after 571 new infections were recorded on Sunday.

The health agency mentioned this via its Twitter handle.
