Iheanacho scores as Iwobi shines for Arsenal >

It was a great Saturday for Super Eagles youngsters Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi as they were instrumental to their respective clubs victories in the English Premier League.

Iheanacho scored his third goal in a week for Manchester City as the Citizens strolled to a 4-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The youngster started in place of suspended Argentine striker Sergio Aguero for the second Premier League match in a row, and in a repeat of his performance last week in the Manchester derby, he made his presence count.

He netted in the 25th minute to temporarily put City 2-0 up at the Etihad Stadium, with Raheem Sterling providing the final pass.

Moments later he turned provider for City’s third goal of the afternoon, finished off by the impressive Sterling, who was selected as the league’s best performer for August.

Also, Sanchez and Granit Xhaka may have stolen the headlines after Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Hull today, but it was the performance of Alex Iwobi that has left Gunners fans in a state of delirium.

The Nigerian attacker has been making a name for himself in recent weeks, but few thought he would have an immediate impact on the Arsenal team.

Not only does Iwobi have terrific pace, but an eye for a killer pass that can open even the tightest defence.

Against Paris Saint Germain earlier this week, the 20 year old completed 90% of his passes and only lost possession on three occasions. Not bad for a winger.

Against Hull it was the same story, where he held onto possession, drove at defenders and supplied a brilliant assist for Theo Walcott.
