INEC postpones poll announcement in Delta as Okowa leads

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the announcement of the election results in Delta State till Monday.

Meanwhile, results of elections in 18 local government areas have been announced with seven remaining.

Incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading in 17 out of the 18 LGAs that have been announced.

His closest rival, Great Ogboru, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading only in only one of the LGAs.
