BIAFRA: Bayelsa court frees 44 detained IPOB members

In a clear move to counter the Nigerian Army’s Operation Python Dance, which it declared in the South East geopolitical zone recently, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared Operation ‘David Dance’.

Disclosing this on Tuesday in a statement, the group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, called on its members to be careful on how they deal with security agencies in order not to give them an excuse to unleash more harm on unarmed members of the group.

The group said they have faith in God that He would not permit the extermination of its members because they were innocuous in their struggle.

He said, “IPOB worldwide advises the people of Biafra and IPOB members to be sure they don’t fall victim in the hands of the pharaohs’ soldiers called Operation Python Dance in the South East. The IPOB devises a means of Operation David dance which is recognized by God Almighty in the Bible.

“It was the dance that gave David victory against Goliath at the battle front because God Almighty does not sleep. We are also aware that the world knows that the annual report from Amnesty international against the cold blooded killing of unarmed members of IPOB in Nigeria by the security agents are correct and even the soldiers know that the reports were correct.

“There is no way you can deny something that happened in a broad daylight and every single individual saw how they killed people randomly in the streets. IPOB is properly organised group which adopted nonviolent approach towards the realisation of God project and truth,” part of the statement read.
