Fear of COVID-19 makes the rich cry

Kano State Saturday recorded its first case of coronavirus.

The state Ministry of Health confirmed this to journalists at a press briefing in Kano.

Prior to Saturday, Kano is one of the few states that had not recorded a single case of coronavirus since February 27 when Nigeria recorded its first case of the disease.

Nigeria currently has 305 cases of coronavirus with eight deaths.

However, over 50 patients have been discharged by health authorities in Lagos and Abuja after they were certified free of the virus.
