RAMADAN: Adults eating in public to be arrested in Kano

Apparently disappointed with the outcome of Kano State governorship election, an aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Hashim Suleiman, has resigned his position as Senior Special Assistant on Urban Beautification.

His resignation was contained in a later dated Wednesday, March 13, 2019 and personally signed by him.

He regretted in his letter that the governor, who was supposed to demonstrate the spirit of a transparent Khadimul-Islam, failed to concede defeat to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, in the March 9, governorship election in the state.

The PDP candidate had won the election at the end of collation, however it was declared inconclusive in what some political analysts argue was controversial.

Disappointed with the development Ganduje’s aide wrote: ”I write to formally inform you of my voluntary resignation from the office of SSA, Beautification.
