Lagos to discharge 6 coronavirus patients who have recovered
Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health, Dr Tunde Ajayi, has disclosed that six of the patients being treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital have recovered and will soon be discharged.
Ajayi via his verified Twitter handle, @thetundeajai, wrote “Six of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon. There is something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead.”
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has 51 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, two cases have been discharged and one death recorded.

Out of the 51 cases, Lagos has 32 cases.
On 27th of February, 2020, Nigeria recorded its first case of Coronavirus in Lagos since the beginning of the pandemic disease in China.
The viral infection has killed over 21,000 people globally with thousands infected.
