Lanre Gentry begs Mercy Aigbe for forgiveness, wants peace to reign

Haven realised his mistake and the critical situation he is faced with in respect to the court case he is facing with his estranged wife, Mercy Aigbe, Lagos hotelier, Lanre Gentry has tendered a public apology to the mother of his son.

Lanre who is determined to mend fences with Mercy has reportedly met with family members of his estranged wife in company of his family members to end the feud between them and convince her (Mercy) to drop battery charges against him.

The hotelier went a step further in an attempt to make peace with his wife by penning a long apology and declaring that he’ll bury whatever hatchet he has with his wife just to allow peace to reign.

“For peace to reign, I’m going to bury all hatchet and break the bone of contention between myself and Mercy Aigbe Gentry.
I’m sorry to those who I’ve hurt with my action and comment/words.

“Mercy, you claimed that I’m begging you behind curtains; OK here I am begging you openly. I’m sorry!!!

“This drama is exhausting and I’m done with it all.

“Despite all that’s been happening; I don’t love you less. I still see you as the mother of my children and I want to give you the respect to that regard.

Lanre’s apology is coming a day after Mercy, who has declared she’s all out for him, shared a scary video of herself in hospital after she was beaten by her estranged husband.

The 36-year-old actress shared the video as she continues in her advocacy against domestic violence which has torn her marriage apart after falling out with her husband over battery allegations.
