Man alleged to have killed wife for money ritual hospitalised
Jafar Osiugie, 50, who was alleged to have killed his wife for money ritual purposes has been taken to Falomo General Hospital, Ikoyi for treatment after he began to act sickly and couldn’t stand on his own without support.
Osiugie is accused of killing his wife Roselyn Solugie, by cutting her throat at their No 8 Araromi Street, Oshodi, Lagos residence.
It was gathered, that his condition became worse when he was arrested and taken to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department prompting a need for him to be taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased who used to sell frozen foods at Ijora have vowed to get Jafar punished after they accused him of murdering their daughter for money ritual.
According to reports, Jafar after killing his wife attempted to escape but he was apprehended by his neighbours until the arrival of policemen who arrested him and also moved the corpse of his wife to a mortuary.
