Man City worsen Palace woes, Chelsea thrash Stoke as Everton fight back

The week 6 of the English premier League has continued with a lot of excitements and also setting unwanted records for various teams in the topflight.

While Manchester City continued with their goal feast at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, their visitors, Crystal Palace maintained their place as the only team yet to score a goal or earn a point in the league this season.

Goals by Leroy Sané (44′ minutes), Raheem Sterling (51′ minutes, 59′ minutes), Sergio Agüero (79′ minutes), Fabian Delph (89′ minutes) helped the Pep Guardiola’s side sink the Eagles 5-0.

Elsewhere, champions Chelsea thumped their hosts Stoke City 4-0, thanks to a Morata hat-trick (2′ minutes, 77′ minutes, 82′ minutes) and a finish by Pedro (30′ minutes).

Jose Mourinho’s men also scaled through as Romelu Lukaku scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season to give the Red Devils a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Southampton.

But Oumar Niasse hammered the equaliser from a ball by fellow substitute Tom Davies on 77 minutes before hooking home the winner just 8 minutes to stoppage time.

By coming from behind to beat Bournemouth, Everton have dragged themselves out of the bottom three after a second league win this season.
