Mechanical, pilot error caused Russian military plane crash, reports say

Russian media has revealed that preliminary analysis of a black box from the Russian military plane that crashed into the Black Sea on Christmas Day, shows that a combination of pilot and mechanical errors are to blame for the unfortunate crash.

Another source aware of the details in the preliminary crash investigation told Interfax that although a mechanical error could be to blame, “The crew’s erroneous actions during takeoff shouldn’t be ruled out either.”

The preliminary theory is that the pilots reacted incorrectly to the issue, and the plane crashed as a result, according to Interfax.

The Russian military plane which was heading to Syria before it plunged into the Black Sea was carrying 92 people, including dozens of Red Army Choir singers, dancers and orchestra members.
