Mideast crises deepen as Bahrain cuts diplomatic ties with Iran

The Mideast crisis seems to be boiling over after Bahrain joined Saudi Arabia in severing diplomatic ties with Iran.
Authorities in Bahrain have asked Iranian diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours after officially cutting diplomatic ties with Tehran.

Bahrain’s move is coming after Saturday’s attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran during protests against executions in the Saudi kingdom.

Bahrain has frequently accused Iran in the past of being behind protests among its Shia population.
