Moses to face Iwobi as Chelsea draw Arsenal in Carabao Cup semis; Man City play Bristol

Super Eagles duo of Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi will play against each other in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup after Chelsea were drawn with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Also, in the other last-4 clash, Premier League leaders, Manchester City will face Championship side, Bristol City who stunned title holders, Manchester United, to advance.

Moses, who was rested in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in the last 8 clash on Wednesday, might be fielded when they play against their Premier League rivals.

Iwobi was also rested in Arsenal’s quarterfinal clash against West Ham on Tuesday, when England forward Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the game to send Arsene Wenger’s side to the semis.

The first leg of the encounter will be at Stamford Bridge before both sides play again at the Emirates.

The draw was held in the tunnel at Ashton Gate, and the ties will be played in the weeks of January 8 and January 22.
